Agriculture

Fife Capital’s unconventional approach to agricultural investment seeks to combine the best aspects of multi-faceted land use with the disciplines of family-farm ownership, taking a long view on investment and a custodial approach to land sustainability.

The Group’s managed and owned agricultural investments span mainstream activities including broadacre cereal and oilseed cropping, livestock breeding and raising on established pastures, and wool and fodder production. The properties are predominantly staffed and operated by the Group.

The rural portfolio is diversified by both land-use and location. This affords considerable defence from climatic changes. There are land holdings in Western Australia, Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales and Queensland.

We take a total return approach to agricultural investments, particularly suited to considered long term investment. Proximity to major markets and value accretion are hallmarks of individual investment decisions.
